THE RECOMMENDATION
Consider the Nespresso CitiZ when simplicity matters most.
Nespresso lists two programmable cup sizes on CitiZ: espresso (40 ml) and lungo (110 ml). Its regional product pages list a 1 L water tank and a used-capsule container for around 9–11 capsules. The compact one-touch routine can be easier to explain to a new guest than a grinder, portafilter, and milk wand.
CitiZ uses the Nespresso Original capsule system. Original and Vertuo are separate formats, so label the machine and leave the correct capsules beside it. The machine is best for espresso-style drinks; it does not provide automatic milk drinks unless you supply a separate compatible milk frother.
