PRODUCT OVERVIEW

What it is and how it works

The AeroPress Stainless Steel Filter is a reusable metal filter with fine perforations. AeroPress says it lets flavorful oils pass while keeping coffee grounds out, resulting in a somewhat fuller-bodied cup than a paper micro-filter.

This listing is the Standard size, measuring 2.5 inches in diameter. AeroPress says it fits Original, Clear, Go, Premium, Steel, and Go Plus brewers; it is not compatible with the AeroPress XL.

CHECK BEFORE YOU BUY

Compatibility at a glance

Match the filter size to the brewer and filter cap. Standard and XL are separate sizes and should not be substituted for one another.

01

Standard AeroPress models

AeroPress lists compatibility with AeroPress Original, Clear, Go, Premium, Steel, and Go Plus. It can be used with the standard-size AeroPress cap.

02

AeroPress XL

The Standard filter does not fit the XL brewer. AeroPress sells a separate XL-size stainless filter; choose XL only for an XL brewer.

03

Paper filter flavor comparison

AeroPress says the metal filter passes more oils for a somewhat fuller-bodied cup, while its paper micro-filter produces a smoother cup with less grit. Choose the filter style that suits your taste.
